“I would like say Thank YOU to Dr. Reza and to his whole team!!! I called in to Reza Dental Care with an emergency due to an immense pain in one of my back molars: I needed to get a tooth extracted. I can now say with 110% confidence that I made the right choice. Now just 5 hours laters or so: I am here writing this review and pain free!!! I love their customer service, more than service, the team makes you feel welcome, comfortable, and valued. From the moment Mayra picked up the phone and helped me set up a same day appointment and guided me along the process to the moment when I walked out of the office with a gauze in my mouth. I was so glad I went there. I did not feel pain when Dr. Reza extracted my tooth. I would absolutely recommend you make an appointment with Reza Dental Care if your looking for a Dentist. They are amazing!”

Emergency Dental FAQ

What is considered a dental emergency?

An emergency is any dental problem that needs immediate treatment to stop bleeding, swelling, relieve severe pain, or save a tooth.

What to do if a tooth is chipped or fractured?

Fast action can save the tooth, prevent infection and reduce the need for extensive dental treatment. Before you call your emergency
dentist, rinse the mouth with lukewarm water. If the lip is injured too, apply cold compresses to reduce swelling. Place the broken tooth fragment in cold milk or water and bring it with you to the dental office.

How can I make the pain go away while I wait for my emergency dental visit?

If you are in pain prior to your emergency dental visit, you can try applying a cold compress to the area to reduce pain and swelling. You may also take any over-the-counter pain medication. When you arrive in our office, we will work to get you out of pain as quickly as possible, and if needed, we will prescribe you something for the pain.

Does emergency dental treatment cost more?

Absolutely not. Here at Reza Dental Care, we will never charge our patients extra for emergency treatment. We are here to help you get the treatment you need at regular costs.

My tooth is chipped or broken. What do I do?

In most cases, a broken or chipped tooth tends to cause pain or sensitivity. This is because the enamel – the protective outer layer of the tooth – has been compromised, leaving the sensitive underlayers of the tooth exposed. Even if you are not feeling pain or sensitivity, it is important to come in for treatment right away; leaving the tooth in this state can leave it vulnerable to harmful bacteria or acids, which may place it at risk for developing even more damage or decay. If you have noticed a broken or chipped tooth, give us a call right away at 323-457-8787.

I can’t say enough good things about this place from the cleanliness to the staff, everything was amazing ! I called for an emergency at around 5pm I had a horrible pain of what I thought was a molar the receptionist was super nice and said I was ok to come in. Upon arriving I was greeted and made felt comfortable right away. The dentist and assistant are both WONDERFUL!! I’ve never been good with dentists I get nervous but they really work with you and make you feel at ease. Dr. Reza reassured me that my teeth and molar were good and I had a sore that was affecting me. He prescribed me medication and a rinse and I’m super thankful since my pain was unbearable. They even took care of my deep cleaning and the dental assistant that was helping me was super amazing very gentle and patient. I’m so glad I found them I will definitely be keeping them as my family dentist going forward! Oh bonus comment they give you discounts regardless of insurance status ! Thank you guys so much !
